Hello, my name is Jason Craft, I'm 25 years old, and I am a Visual Effects &  Motion Graphics Artist. I am currently attending The Art Institutes International  Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. with only a few more quarters left. I have  always admired the visual effects of movies that others have done. That creativity  and reality is what drives my motivation in bringing my best work forward. People  would say I am responsible and take my work very seriously. I'm always on time, I  bring creativity and originality to my work, get along great with others and I'm always  open for feedback from fellow Co workers.

I always enjoyed the visual effects of Sci Fi movies like Back to the  Future, The  Matrix and Independence Day. I knew that some day I wanted to have  the freedom  to create effects like that myself.. I just started getting serious with this  field of study  over the last 5 years. After High school, in 2001 I decided to serve my  country and  served in the United States Army for four years, stationed in FT. Bragg,  NC with the  27th Airborne Engineers. While I was in the army I took up a past time  and started  shooting videos of my own and started experimenting with 3D software,  3D Max and  After Effects. From doing my own projects I realized that Visual Effects  was what I  realy wanted to get into. So after my contract was up I came back home to  Minneapolis and started my studies at the AI.
Some of favorite things to do in my free time are filming small visual effects projects,  hanging out with friends, hunting, paintball, playing pool, building models, and  watching movies. My dream is to get out of school with a great demo reel, and to land  myself a great career in the visual effects industry.
